Dear Friends,

2020 has gotten off to very disorienting start, to say the least. None of us expected to be plunged into a global health crisis and to have all our plans upended. As we all look for stability, some constants in our lives, I hope that our Lifelong Learning classrooms will be high on your list. Summer 2020 classes will begin as soon as we are given the go-ahead that it’s safe to get started. We plan to keep our classes somewhat smaller for the time being so that everyone can sit farther apart. And of course we will be even more vigilant in making Brookstown a safe environment for everyone.

Much planning and collaboration has gone into creating our new Adventures in Lifelong Learning opportunities. In these we will hold classes in different parts of the state, beginning at the original Wake Forest campus near Raleigh. Naturally we have had to postpone the launch of this adventure, but we have three all-day Saturday classes already lined up and will let you know as soon as we can set dates for them.

Take good care, be well, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
