Summer Updates

Summer is the season for travel and adventure! In this spirit of exploration, the Lifelong Learning program is excited about numerous developments in our educational enrichment offerings. Over the next year, our Adventures in Lifelong Learning will take us from the churches of Asheville, North Carolina to the canals of Venice, Italy. We will also launch a Lunching with Lifelong Learning series. More details to come!

These new experiences will complement our traditional LLL offerings. Courses on history, art, sociology, science, and culture are big hits with Lifelong Learners. This summer, we are offering a new course that combines all these interests. Our Summer 2022 featured course, “Can Johnny Write Yet?” explores how genres of writings developed and how those genres affect the way we think and function as a society.
