Continuing Studies Special Events

A lot of the buzz about living in a university town is about the renowned speakers and performers who come to campus. So many opportunities for learning pop up every week that you almost have to check the university events calendar daily to be sure you haven’t missed anything.

We know what a wide range of interests adults have, so we look for events of general interest that are not aimed at specialists in a field. (If you do have a special interest, be sure to check the websites and social media of departments.)

Also at this site you will find information about our “Adventures in Lifelong Learning,” our new program presenting courses at various sites around North Carolina. Like all our on-campus courses, these special events are taught by Wake Forest faculty or occasionally their peers in other institutions.

Lectures

Look here for selected lectures of general interest around campus. We will also note performances if they have a distinct learning component. Most events are free and open to the public. A campus map will help you find locations and parking options.
